 Books on display at Malvern. | When I was in Austin last month I did a reading at Malvern Books—a wonderful independent bookstore. It was a great time--saw so many old friends, made some new friends. I read from the beginning of Professed, and then read a chapter from my novel-in-progress. Reading from from a work-in-progress is kind of odd. Because it's not done yet, because the meaning of the piece is not quite clear yet. Still, I think it all went off pretty well...
